ABOUT ERIKA

A lifelong student of nature, healing, and the wisdom that connects them.

[PORTRAIT]

Nothing is wasted.

One of my Qigong Masters recently reminded me, "Nothing is wasted."

That simple phrase has stayed with me. Every experience, challenge, lesson, and season of life has shaped the person I am today and guided me toward this work.

My path to Qigong was not a straight line. It grew from a lifelong connection to nature, years of personal growth, and a deep desire to understand healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

Rooted in Nature

My connection to the natural world and the healing arts began in childhood.

I found comfort in the smallest patches of soil, plants, and growing things around me. Nature became both a refuge and a teacher, offering lessons in patience, resilience, and healing.

As I grew older, that connection deepened and eventually led me to a life spent working closely with the earth as a farmer and gardener. To this day, I continue to find wisdom, healing, and guidance in the natural world.

Finding Qigong

My journey to Qigong unfolded through many different experiences, each one leading me closer to the path I walk today.

During a challenging period of illness, I experienced firsthand the profound impact that energy healing can have. That experience inspired me to seek a deeper understanding of healing practices and eventually led me to Spring Forest Qigong and the teachings of Grandmaster Chunyi Lin.

What began as a personal practice quickly became a way of life.

For more than five years, I have studied and practiced Qigong, discovering again and again the power of movement, breath, intention, and presence to support healing and wellbeing.

A Practice of the Heart

Qigong is more than something I do. It is a practice of the heart.

Through movement, breath, meditation, and intention, I have learned to trust myself more deeply, cultivate greater harmony, and reconnect with the wisdom that already exists within.

My hope is to create a welcoming space where others can explore that same connection for themselves.

I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I feel honored to support each person wherever they are on their journey.
